TEC DE MONTERREY / TLALPAN INNOVATION DISTRICT
Environmental Graphics & Exhibition Experience Mexico City, 2026
CHALLENGE
Design the visual communication system for the Tlalpan Innovation District experience area, creating a museum-like environment capable of presenting the project’s results in a clear, engaging and highly structured way.
The challenge was to translate a complex urban development initiative into a coherent physical experience, while balancing Tecnológico de Monterrey’s institutional standards, the specific branding of Distrito de Innovación Tlalpan and the visual needs of multiple thematic areas.
CONTEXT
The project was developed to communicate the scope, impact and outcomes of the Tlalpan Innovation District through a series of physical exhibition elements.
Content was organized into key areas including Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Economic Development; Communities & Culture; and Urbanism & Sustainability, each with its own visual treatment while remaining part of a unified system.
The exhibition included large-format panels, modular structures, mobile cubes, informational walls and spatial graphic applications designed to make complex information accessible, visually engaging and consistent across the entire experience.
The project was developed in close collaboration with the Architecture and Urbanism faculty leadership, with particular attention to visual quality, hierarchy, production feasibility and consistency across all physical formats.
